Daffodil Software to Release Product Extensions in the New Year

Daffodil said it has been engaged in developing varied extensions and modules for the clients and has successfully met their requirements. Being an active participant in the open source community, the company said it is soon coming up with a new section on its Web site for demonstrating some of its product extensions. These extensions will be available to the community free of cost.

affodil intends to develop extensions for most of the products it has expertise around and will begin with Magento extensions, its e-commerce platform. Magento is a popular e-commerce platform due to its intuitive administration interface, which contains powerful marketing, merchandising and content management tools, giving merchants the power to create sites that are tailored to their unique business needs. It offers merchants complete flexibility and control over the look, content, and functionality of their online store.

Daffodil said it has designed many effective modules and extensions for its client, which enhances the basic functionality of Magento based e-commerce sites.

In the beta phase, some of the extensions developed by Daffodil are already available on Magento Extension market place:

- Price Slider: Facilitates users to see products in certain price range as per their choice.

- Banner Slider: Facilitates admin to place jQuery image slider on Homepage and Products Page in no time.

- Facebook Like button: Adds "Facebook Like button" to your product description page and product image and description of that product is posted on users Facebook wall, where his friends can see that user likes that particular product on your store.
