How to create a nice mega menu?

In our instruction, Category level 1 means the first category (they are Furniture, Electronics and Apparel in Magento data example). Category level 2 is subcategories of category level 1 and Category level 3 is sub categories of category level 2)

The below picture is the example for Mega Menu that is showed as the top menu. There are 5 sections.

The main section is the center of menu. That will show categories level 2 and sub categories of them (categories level 3) or show products that belong to categories level 2. This section will be managed at Manage Menu Items

The 4 sections at top, bottom, left, right will be the custom content that will be managed at Manage Content. They may be products, static blocks, Images or Texts.

Menu Items is showed on the top menu, normally they are category level 1, but they also are the text that is linked to some CMS page. After the extension is installed, your categories will be automatically loaded with the show subcategories type.

The extension supports 2 types of display: show subcategories and show subcategories and products

In the type: show subcategories, when you mouse over on top menu, the drop down will list the categories level 2 and categories level 3.

In the type: show subcategories and products when you mouse over on top menu, the drop down will list categories level 2 and products of categories level 2.
